Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the Sentinel Command™ platform. These Terms govern your agency's access to and use of our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Sentinel Command platform ("Platform"), your agency agrees to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are accessing the Platform on behalf of a law enforcement or public safety agency, you represent that you have authority to bind that agency to these Terms. These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including agency administrators, officers, dispatchers, and any other personnel granted access by your agency.

2. Platform License

Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, Sentinel Command grants your agency a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Platform for your agency's internal operational purposes during the term of your service agreement. This license does not include the right to sublicense, resell, or otherwise make the Platform available to third parties outside your agency.

3. Agency Responsibilities

Your agency is responsible for: • Ensuring that all users comply with these Terms and applicable law • Maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials and access controls • Promptly notifying Sentinel Command of any unauthorized access or security incidents • Ensuring that data entered into the Platform complies with applicable privacy and data protection laws • Designating an agency administrator responsible for managing user access and permissions • Complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws governing law enforcement data and operations

4. Acceptable Use

The Platform may only be used for lawful purposes in connection with your agency's official operations. You may not: • Use the Platform to store, transmit, or process data in violation of applicable law • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform or its infrastructure • Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation or other users' access • Use the Platform to harass, threaten, or harm any individual • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the Platform's source code • Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Platform without authorization

5. Data Ownership

Your agency retains ownership of all data entered into the Platform ("Agency Data"). Sentinel Command does not claim any ownership rights over Agency Data. You grant Sentinel Command a limited license to process Agency Data solely as necessary to provide the Platform services. This license terminates upon contract termination, subject to applicable data retention requirements.

6. Service Availability

Sentinel Command targets 99.9% platform uptime, excluding scheduled maintenance windows. We will provide advance notice of planned maintenance that may affect service availability. In the event of unplanned outages, Sentinel Command will work to restore service as quickly as possible and will communicate status updates through the Platform's status page and direct notification to agency administrators.

7. Fees and Payment

Platform fees are as specified in your agency's service agreement. Fees are billed in advance on an annual or monthly basis as selected. Failure to pay fees may result in suspension of Platform access after reasonable notice. All fees are non-refundable except as expressly provided in your service agreement or as required by applicable law.

8. Confidentiality

Each party agrees to maintain the confidentiality of the other party's confidential information and to use such information only as necessary to fulfill obligations under these Terms. Confidential information does not include information that is publicly available, independently developed, or required to be disclosed by law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sentinel Command's total liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the fees paid by your agency in the twelve months preceding the claim. Sentinel Command shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or operational disruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the service agreement upon written notice as specified therein. Upon termination, your agency's access to the Platform will be suspended. Agency Data will be made available for export for a period following termination as specified in your service agreement, after which it will be securely deleted.

11. Modifications

Sentinel Command may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to agency administrators with reasonable advance notice. Continued use of the Platform following the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of a mutually agreed arbitration body.
